About Brady McBride

I am Brady McBride, the current Director of Graphic Design for the Georgia Tech athletic department.

I have also served as the Director of Creative Services at Appalachian State University (August 2021-February 2022), as an Athletic Communications Assistant at Middle Tennessee State University (March 2019 – August 2021) and Student Intern of Eastern Kentucky University (2017-2019).

At MTSU I served as the primary contact for baseball, the secondary contact for women’s basketball, and as the tertiary contact for football as. My duties consist of updating and creating content for social media, graphic design,

assisting in maintaining the official MT Athletics website GoBlueRaiders.com, designing media guides, writing previews, recaps, and press releases for assigned sports, coordinating interviews, in-game and promotional photography, creating and updating game notes, live tweeting for assigned sports, and official statistician for MT baseball home games.

In my first year with Middle Tennessee baseball, social media accounts saw a rise in followers growing by a combined 3,282 across all platforms in 2020.

Over the last year MT baseball’s Twitter following has grown by 18.2 percent and has seen 1,633 new followers. MT Baseball recorded 9,623 interactions (Retweets+Likes) in the month of February on Twitter and had reached 5,167 interactions in March before the cancellation of the 2020 baseball season on the 17th. MT Baseball ranked No. 45 in the country among college baseball Twitter account in interactions from Feb. 17-23 according to SkullSparks.com.

Despite all that came with 2020, MT baseball social media still generated 65,980 interactions. The Instagram account surpassed the 2019 interaction total of 20,969 in just eight months. The account generated 31,630 interaction in 2020 and has increased its following by 53.4 percent, adding 1,290 new followers in the past year.

Before taking over as the primary contact for MT baseball I served as the primary contact for MT softball from March 2019-August 2019. While with the MT softball team three players received All-Conference honors, one was named to the All-Conference Tournament team, and one was names to the All-NISC Regional team.

Before joining the MT Athletic Communications team in March of 2019, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degrees in Public Relations from Eastern Kentucky University. While at EKU I was a student intern for Athletic Communications from Dec. 2017-19. I assisted the professional communications staff with assigned duties such as in game tweeting, post-game recaps, preview stories, and accompanied the staff on selected road trips as the preferred student photographer.
